  Old  batch files

i was wondering if it is possible to write a batch file that would make a copy of a directory, named 101, and copy that to 102, 103, 104 sequentially to a set number. any ideas?

It cant be that hard. Just research a bunch of common commands and play around.

It should be able with a simple loop which repeats the copy to a directory 10+var ( 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 ).. ( every repeat, you add 1 to var )

Python's a great language for that, if you can figure out some things about file reading. Check it out

You can try using xcopy to copy a directory and all its contents, now incrementing on batch could be a problem.
