I figured I'd start a thread with the theme 'a rant a day' for myself. As some of you know I'm pretty bad at moaning and ranting about general topics

Sunday 5th December - Rant

Ok, I'm sick to the back teeth of getting nothing for putting in everything. I sit here every day slugging my ass of trying to get clients and get high grades at college for my work...and i never come out on top. You get idiots spending no time at all on stuff, getting everything for it...it's just simply, not, fair at all.

You all must know where I'm coming from. I've been trying and trying for months to get a decent project to work on for myself, but nothing comes along. You get people who spend mostly an hour or two a day on the computer who get all of the new clients and all of the new projects to work on, and then to make it even worse they take them for granted.

It makes me sick!

I know what you mean Moobrack, I'm actually starting to figure out what "Rant" threads are now.

MOOBY!!! its ok man, we all feel your pain. finding clients is all about networking. the more people you know, the more people you'll get work from its a direct proportion (go go college math!). though yah...school + work + design = no time left over..

I face similar problems moobrack.

It is very difficult to find clients who are willing to pay more than $25 for a site.

Tuesday 7th December - College

College life is pretty good at the moment, apart from the amount of work I have to do, but hey we can't have it all. One thing is annoying me though.

At break times and after college we all tend to congregate at a bar called Carpé Diém, in the millenium square in Leeds. Now there are some really hot, nice, girls that come with us when we go there to chill out. Here's the bad part.

They all REALLY like me.....but not in any other way than just a friend, I'm the "Nice Guy"....it is really beginning to wind me up, as there's one of the group who I am really fond of.

Damn it, wake up and smell the Anthony!!!

In regards to the second rant, just link the girls to this thread and they will feel bad about it, and hello blowjob!

Tarun i wasnt implying it bad about you since you put in the hours to get good at what you do, you're a good designer and have earned it through hard work.

In regards to girls....none of them use the internet

good good, they are some decent girls then.
