DateinaDash is on a distinguished road

Old  Where would you like to see talkfreelance in 3 months?

I was just sitting at my desk and wondering...with so many other forums with similar discussions and a vast majority of members, where will talkfreelance be in several months time? Where would you like it to be?

I would like to see talkfreelance as a professional and respected design/programming community, a community that is not spammed with advertisments but has a wide range of interesting members who participate in all aspects of the community.

I will be investing time and money into improving this place. I think the previous owner did very well in achieving close to 100 members, in 3 months time i wish to turn those 100 members into 1,000 members.

This coming weekend we will be launching our revamped skin and a unique freelance quote system (which i hope will make this community stand out amoung the bigger forums).

So my question(s) to you guys are....what would you like to see here and what direction would you like to see talkfreelance go in?

I'd like it to expand as a community with great topics/threads that can help the future users that browse this forum.

What do you guys think about the inclusion of the store hack? Where posts equal points and you can buy things such as, coloured usernames, avatars etc.

Also, a feature i am very excited about is the "freelance quote" system. It is going to be custom built for this forum and will allow all freelancers to submit their details so potential customers can find them at ease.

The quote system will have things such as budget, timeframe, skills etc. Only the freelancers who meet the specific requirements of the customer will be e-mailed to them.

The store thing is a good idea. How about name changes ? I think that a downfall on the store hack for a lot of forums is people start to spam to get their points up.

I, too am very excited about that "freelance quote" system.

Yep, name changes will also be an option. We are also getting a news feed for the forum as well. There will also be the option of getting banner impressions at the top and bottom of the forum as well.
