Photography, as with any form of artistic expression, has developed a set of rules.
It's a good image. well composed. active. good use of color to express emotion.
(and it has--most likely--been touched up in photoshop. note the matching border and that it's sepia toned.)

The only thing that has been photoshoped is the border and my logo..
sepia toned? Not a clue what that is.
Everything about the image is natural, no lighting / effects / colouring have been used at all. As i said, i just added a border and my logo.

That's a nice shot, I want to go Africa sometime too. That for some reason reminds me of the lion king, their pictures used to look like that, that sort of style.

To me it is really amazing. The land is at the right position to split the image from the sky. And the giraffe shows additional proposition contrast... Good take. I like it, I don't know others, but this picture has captured my heart

Good photo for an amateur! but for me the photo is inside the one you shot. There is too much black without detail.
Why do you think it's bad to use PS? Do you think the great photograpers didn't improve their photos in the laboratory? In my opinion the use of some adjustements is totally valid except in the journalistic photos.

I don't know much about photography... but the photo looks beautiful to me. Very serene, peaceful... color, scenary, perspective, sun, clouds... looks great. Of course the photos always look better and mean a lot more to the photographer... they have beautiful, intangible memories to go along with them...
Regards,

=P Thanks for the amazing comments guys!
Suppose it helps being in a place like that, couldn't really capture an image as such from here =]
Shame i couldn't capture more, I had an excellent one, where i caught 3 giraffes with their heads like \|/ all linking across each other, but it was a blur since we were in the safari van thing.
