You really don't know what you're talking about do you? Any copy of OS X is only licensed to be installed on Apple branded hardware only, nothing else.

Joe, I suggest you check out LifeHacker's Hackintosh article before you start belting out "facts' like that. It's certainly is possible to put OSX on non apple hardware.

Indeed, and Joe, it's certainly not 'illegal'. Or perhaps you can point us less knowledgeable folks to a piece of legislation making it illegal to use OSX on non apple hardware?? I'll be right here waiting for this, and a perpetual motion machine.

lol..
the only illegal thing in this is if you get the copy of OS X through illegal means, you can buy the OS, and then apply the patches to the original disc you bought..then your are not breaking any laws.

For the hell of it, I've ordered parts for a low budget (sub $400) hackintosh. Should be here next week, and I'll be documenting the steps and how simple it is.
