Idea of my next bussines venture..
I was thinking of creating a website not a forum where you sell your designs mainly. Would have seperate section and so on coded/ bussines and that sort of thing. It would have a rating system and so on and a log in panel. You can also post projects and designers "adverts about there bussines"
I was wondering if i kept this "market" free how would i make it earn money with out filling it up with crazy adds or making a fee per sale or post type of thing.
How hard would t be to code something like this?
Could i do this mainly in cssand xhtml with adding scripts to this?
How would you do a log in pannel and a posting system to a an object.
And is this a bad or a reasonable idea for a bussines/site.

Its a great Ideal i have only seen 1 other website like that which is not successful. and well it would be hard to code that, probably looking for a low to mid $x,xxx for it to get coded, and well for money i suggest an affiliate marketing item, and possibly like a small single link saying like "Design Sale Sponsored By: TalkFreeLance" with a it linking to the website, maybe like once a design is placed on the website it picks a site that is in the database randomly and gets connected to it and it doesn't change.
My suggestion, and well good luck.

Also make premium spots which the designer has to pay for which are going to be like on the homepage as featured. So many ways to capitalize this market. Take advantage of it but also it takes money to make money Coding might reach $x,xxx but maybe someone on here will cut you a deal or something. Best of luck!

Great ideas I will use them.
I was also thinking charge for special things like if you upload your entry/sale and wanted to add special futures like to stand out somehow from the other i.e. icons, rating, borders and so on.
Or charge for the top 10 or 100 or editors pick which would appear on the homepage.
Maybe charge for being a trusted seller or some sort of tag?
How much would this cost to code, if I designed it and got someone to code this, what i want? Because I need to get a budget.

It all depends are you going to have them code the site and the script then its going to be more if you can do the site yourself and just outsource the script it will save you some pennies.

Alright if the site gets coded lets say in Css and xhtml and than the script would get done or i could alredy use a made one.
Lets say xhtml and css whole site coded for $200 (sound reasonable heh?)
And custom script making about $300 or i could but a made one and someone install it and make it wokr for 100-150.

If your looking to get a custom script, 400 is well abit low, no offense. the script itself is going to be mid $x,xxx. and the design probably will be cheaper then $400.
