I recommend everyone buying Apple Macs for those who are interested in web development. But alot of complaints have been said, that Apple computers are expensive and a waste. Don't rely on their opinions.

Depends on what your used to. If your a hard learner, and quickly give up on new projects, then going from Windows to Leopard might not be such a good idea..
Remember that everything is different, from how the computer work to how the software will function. You need learn a completly different OS and Computer..
Tho, going from PC to Mac is one of my smarter choices these days !

I own a MacBook pro and several PCs...I prefer PCs (a stable installation of Vista is perfect) but XP is great too.
I hate MANY things about OS X...things that should take 1 or 2 clicks take at least 5 on a Mac...and I am VERY experienced with Macs I know all of the short cuts and the ways around everything but some simple things are just not thought out. Oh, and my Mac freezes more than my Vista PC...I guess those Apple ads aren't true...

I have to agree with lush on this one, i have extremely similar experiences. I work with Mac Pro's as well as PC's, and the Mac Pro's are forever having boot issues and have spent more time with the Apple techs than they have actually being used for work. On top of that, one of my new macbook pro's has bricked itself.

I love how thin it is and how it looks, but design a website, and look at it on any other computer and the colors are all off. That's with default settings.

That's not the Mac, that's the browser. Are you using the same browser? Also, if you are, it's probably because your two computers have different monitor calibrations. You will get a difference because of settings on many different computers, not just Macs.
