Brand new to Photoshop CS4 (Photo manipulations)

I am an 18-year-old senior in high school who is about to graduate and (hopefully) go into the animation field. I have an art background and have been recently tooling around with photoshop on my new iMac! I took some photos with a 400mm lens of my high school's girls soccer team. I was asked to digitally remaster them, so I did. These are the results.
