mascot design. Need help

I have drawn out upto 4 characters. I drew them on an a4 paper. I need to digitize them in order to be used as mascots. Can any one help me or guide me through the process?

chaka42 is an unknown quantity at this point

Just scan the drawings and trace them in Illustrator. Some people use Photoshop, but vectors are best for logos and/or mascots.

i have them scanned, but doesn't illustrator need some plugins for that. I have heard of the silhouette plugin

did you get the silhouette plugin working? i had tried once but did not have much luck
