Can't get a Wordpress plugin to work :(
Hi everyone,
I have tried getting this plugin to work in Wordpress for close to four hours, I thought it was about time I asked some of you for help.
The plugin (amusing name, should be called fckedinstaller ):
http://www.fckeditor.net/
Install page:
http://wiki.fckeditor.net/Developer%...e/Installation
Now I have absolutely no idea how to integrate that into Wordpress. I need to get this plugin working so the Wordpress editor looks as close to using Word, as possible. I have tried so many different things, edited so many different files, put the plugin folder in all sorts of places, and it still doesn't work. They charge $175/year for support, maybe that's why they are so vague about the installation?
Any help would be really appreciated

Have you tried one of the desktop solutions Julian?
I use Blog Desk to write and publish posts from my PC and I find it takes me half the time it does when doing it through a web browser

No I haven't. This is to simply develop the user interface into something closer resembling the MS suite of office products. It also means that multiple clients can use the interface from anywhere worldwide. A desktop application would not suit this.
My clients (and future clients) will require teaching in the system, so the more seamless I can get it, the better
It has worked, so I can now apply it.
