Good - if slightly confusing - deal at OfficeMax

The other day I went to get a photo cartridge for my new printer, as well as a high capacity color cartridge - only to find out they came with a free printer.

Apparently, the store has a special going on where a $50 (or more) HP ink purchase comes with a free HP printer that takes those inks. I don't know if it's just a local thing, and (naturally), the printers they're giving away aren't uber-high-end, but, if you could use an average printer for general stuff, it's not a bad deal. (I'm planning to use mine for document printing; it'll save me from wasting the photo ink in my higher-end printer, since I find swapping cartridges every time I have to do a different print job annoying.)

I see that when I work too. Most inkjets are pretty dirt cheap if not free with other crap because all the money is made in ink and cables...

Whoops, make that Office Depot...
