Logo Concept

Quick logo concept. Going for a bit of a minimilistic type but not too minimilist, if that makes sense.

Not sure weather or not i like the concept, mainly due to where i've got the 'Buddha' seems a little random to me as if it's just there for the sake of it. What do you think? Does it look ok where it is?

Also i know the whole "ray" thing is done to death but i think it suits the theme well in this case.

I know there isn't that much to comment on but all thoughts are appretiated

I think it looks OK.

There isn't much detail in the buddha, and it just looks like one large plump object with some curves. I think it needs some inside curves and depth. The text also isn't the best, and the lines on either side aren't even spaced and don't fit in with the logo at all.

The front and end lines wont be staying thats for deffinate. I threw them in right at the end and even im not sure why. . .

The Buddha i wanted to keep real simple, im hoping people will be able to tell what it is from the outline but it is just a concept so nothing is finalised yet. Im thinking about adding some block shading to it to make it more defined like you suggested. Do you think the colours go well together?

I have to bring something into this. I think the logo looks very nice, don't get me wrong, but I think it should be changed.

The outline is of the Zen Buddha, native to Japan, but the colors are very Indian, which makes me want to see the Hindu Buddha. Two versions of the same ideals, but I think they should be accurately reflected.
