  Old  Advertisers being cheap?

It's come to my attention recently that advertising is becoming increasingly harder to sell than ever before, perhaps this is due to the summer season or is it due to the prices i'm offering? (even though they are highly competitive and offer a much better deal than alot of similar forums).

My question is, are advertisers just being cheap? I'm only charging $50 for a months worth of advertising but in many peoples eyes this is too much! What do people honestly expect to pay?

People expect to pay the bare minimum... Why do people always expect to get everything for free?

I'd expect to pay alot. But there are a LOT of people from my generation who don't rely on the money they get from the internet to live. So they sell it for way less.

I apologize on behalf of us. :P

Yes, yes they are. At the same time, someone can't say its too expensive until they've purchased a month off you and seen the results.

If you were a business owner, wouldn't you also?

You could alway use CPM (cost per 1,000 banner impressions) and let the advertiser decide how many thousand they want.
