Old  New Version of Firefox Coming in Late Summer

The next version of the Firefox Web browser, which will be called Firefox 1.5, is slated for release later this summer, and development work continues on new features that include an automatic update service.
I'm sure many firefox lovers will be delighted to hear this, looks like they're going to have some competition on their hands with Mr Gates though

Lol, no competition at all, firefox will win easily. Especially since the new IE7 will be only available for people that are valid XP SP2 owners.

I'm proibably going to be oblivious to any updates to IE while i'm using Firefox - it was the other way around when I was using IE a while back.

In the corporate world, IE is still the only choice. On my home machines, though, I tend to have both open at any given time.

Same here. I am really happy to finally hear they will add an auto-update feature. I was tired of downloading 11mbs or something each time they updated FF.

The day I heard about Firefox, I never used anything else!
BIG Mozilla fan.
