Stuck on IPB Skin
Hello, I am trying to code a skin for Invision Board (Please do not make this thread a debate between phpBB, vB, IPB, ect.)... Anyway, I have some categories setup and between each category is a black line (no space) then on the last category I want a unique style on the bottom without the black line. I'm sure your all confused (I would be too) so I threw together a little image to help you understand.
Thanks,
- Phaaze

what you can do is per category row, have a unique style id with the category id as name eg. row_$id. What you then do, is check what forums are at the end of the categories (the id's) and make the row_$id's in css with a different bottom. You don't have to style the others with id - just with the main class will be good enough. Make sure the id is mentioned after class in the html. If I'm confusing you, I can make it in IPB code.

I understand what your saying but how can I check which category is the last one to be displayed? I was looking through IPB's source for something I could count() but didn't have much luck with that either.
Thanks,

Hover your mouse over the last ones link - the id will be displayed in that url.

Erm, that won't work because different categories are visible to different user groups. Not to mention that at some point in time I may re-arrange the forums or add a new category.
Thanks,

in that case, unskinnable - unless you make a modification...

I beg to differ, I placed the bottom style below the categories then in the stylesheet used position: relative; and a negative top margin.
Mission Accomplished without any PHP Mods or complex skinning.
Thanks,
