Text to a web site?

Hey guys,

Anyone know if it is possible for someone to send a text message from there cellphone to a website?

Anyone know how one might go about doing this?

Tried but could not find any information on sending textmessages to websites. Found alot of info for sending txt messages from web sites....

You will need:
- A cellphone
- a database (if you don't want to rewrite the page continuously).
- a php email piping script.
- an email address to send the message to.

Step1
Setup a script to forward your message to the database, this will be your email piping script: (Click here for instructions on how to parse the incoming mail.

Step 2
Create a mail forwarder that points to this script

Step3
Send an email from your phone to that email address

Step 4
Call the value of this message from your database into your website content.

Note:
The database you use can be mysql, mssql, a text file, etc.
