  Old  Photoshop HEX colours.

Hey, I realised that all of the colours in Photoshop (in the colours pallete) work for background colours in a web browser. Even though they don't show up under web colours. Is this 'valid' ? Will it work in all browsers? Any probolems with doing this, because I don't like the 'only web colours' colours.

"Web Safe" colours are useless, don't use them. Most people have monitors that support higher colours these days (more than 256 colours :P) and most old monitors displayed them differently anyway.

Use the hex codes photoshop gives you all you like.

You can pretty much go with 16 bit and higher.

You could also load new colour palettes into the colour window in PS.

Just as a clarification - The monitor is only a small part of the depth of color displayed on a computer. The bigger peice is the video card in a computer. Just a little tech tip.
