  Old  Wireless Media Logo

It depends on what look you want for the logo and how you plan on executing it. For a simple line art type logo, I would recomend a vector file for reproduction. A photoshop file is fine (sometimes necessary) for some printing applications but not for all. Illustrator files will give you more scalability / editabilty with smaller file sizes and less headaches. If the printer really wants a photoshop file, you can export the vector file as an image.
