  Old  Optimize My Forum

Hi, I run a pretty big automotive enthusiast forum (www.exotixboard.com) and I would like to know how to better optimize vbulletin 3.5.2 to get indexed by search engines. Most of my hits come from word of mouth, or other forums, a few also come from Search engines. What would be the best way to optimize my site to get more hits thru search engines?

This is a little offtopic however, doesn't 3.5.2 have a major security flaw? It may be in the best interest of your board to upgrade to 3.5.3.

A recently discovered cross-site scripting (XSS) flaw in all three branches of vBulletin has prompted us to perform a security update, releasing new versions of vBulletin 2, 3.0.x and 3.5.x simultaneously.

All prior versions of vBulletin are vulnerable and we advise customers to upgrade or patch their vBulletin installations at their earliest convenience.

Anyone?

I have been thinking of installing this recently, what do you think?

I see a lot of forums running this, is it BS, or does it really work?
