So much spam on my WP site

use recaptcha plugin. it will stop atleast 90% of comments. even though you will get some spam comments. i am not sure how they are getting into our blog even there is a captcha.

Recapatcha is fantastic. It also has an e-mail hiding component, which is a nice touch.

WP has a lot of anti-spam plugins; if you enable one, disable the other (Askimet). Try to keep the amount of plugins you have to a minimum so that you don't overload the SQL database.

I'd also check out Challenge (http://lordchaos.dominatus.net/wordp...ugin-challenge), but I'm not sure when it was updated last, to be honest.
