Hello,
I'd like to get in contact with someone skilled in the .Net Framework 2.0.
First and foremost, I want you to be skilled in C#. That's right, no Visual Basic, please. I'd rather see that you:
- you know the syntax,
- know stuff like (just some examples):
object oriented programming: { inheritance/abstraction, polymorphism, encapsulation },
asynchronous programming,
operators/syntax like: { conditional (?) operator, coalesce operator, using, ... },
communicating protocols: { remoting, TCP, HTTP, ... },
encodings and data-structure(s): { XML, XSL, SOAP, UTF8, ... },
etc etc...
- have some idea of these concepts which definitely isn't require, but can come in handy:
some knowledge of a few frequently-used design patterns,
some knowledge of application architecture (DDD, SoA, n-tier etc),
some idea of what a O/R-mapper is (it's a tool that's querying the database, returning domain objects, bridging the r-DB<-->OOP-gap)
Being able to produce valid xhtml and CSS for major browsers using the .Net framework is also a plus.
I'd like to have you as a helper for current and upcoming projects.
