iPhone 3G Battery life, slow
Hello
Yesterday i got my iPhone 3G and the battery life is very poor compared to the old iPhone.
I disconnected the iPhone from the charger at 8AM i did like 16 calls today is 5:17PM and is already less than 5%, i used GPS for like 3 minutes and the internet maybe 10 minutes.
Or is something wrong configured or the battery life on this new iPhone sucks.
Also is slower than the old iPhone.
Its going to cost me around 150 Dlls a month on unlimited data plan

How is it slower, its 3g. It should be much faster if you are in an area supporting the 3g signal.

Slower in performance on the phone, not the 3G signal.
It's slower typing, deleting text when typing, browsing the web.

Agreed. Even slower using the quick search on the right hand side of your contacts list.

The GPS drains batteries heavily anyway as it's got to constantly update high volumes of data.

I haven't charged mine since I got it and activated it. I have used all the applications, GPS for about 30 miles, an hour call to test the quality, and took screen shots to email them to flickr. And I have a ~90% battery.

All 3rd party applications are killed once you hit the home button. I would suggest giving it a good charge, or at least drain it (seems like you have) then do the full charge.
