Market Place, feedback & a little FAQ oops
Hi,
I've only joined yesterday so if these points have been brought up and my clumsy searching is to blame please don't crucify me
feedback bug?
I made my first purchase (thanks ShowBoat ) and I wasn't able to give him any positive feedback. This might be due to my lack of posts at the time, but here I am with some more posts and another day under my belt and I still can't let people know what a great transaction I had with ShowBoat. When I try to leave feedback I get:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

A little FAQ oops
I was a good boy and went to the read this first before posting and then to the FAQ link but when I clicked on the Marketplace Guidelines link, I received an error page
General Marketplace suggestion
This might be covered in the Marketplace Guidelines above, in which case please ignore this suggestion
Would it be possible to push the finished auctions down below the ongoing auctions in the Marketplace please? For a new member, I'm finding it a little difficult to wade through which have sold and which are still active at the moment.
Before I forget - Great forum admins! I've been here 24 hours and have already been helped by several members looking out for the new members.
Thanks!

The "feedback bug" is most likely related to the fact that you have under 10 posts and cannot use the private messaging feature (iTrader uses it in order to notify the user).
The FAQ link has been edited.
At this time the marketplace will remain as is. We are bogged down with the simplest of tasks and to add another non-essential would just put us further behind. Will make note of your suggestion for potential modifications in the future.
Regards,
Jeff

Wow quick reply Jeff
Although I'm probably shooting myself in the foot here, I've been PMing since I joined. I'll leave him feedback an hour or two after I hit ten posts then. Thanks

Hi again,
The annoying one is back
I waited a couple of hours after I posted my 10th and then the same for my 11th post -just in case- to put me over the minimum, but I can't leave ShowBoat positive feedback.
No rush, just wanted to let you know.
Cheers,
A

I assume next time the cronjob runs you'll be able to post. I don't know for sure when it runs, or when / how often vB updates, but please just keep trying.
We apologize for any inconvenience.

Also, you don't need an amount of post's to PM, well that wasn't the case for me anyhow, I was able to PM Village Idiot and other member's, when i had around 1 post's, yet the only thing I couldn't do was leave iTrader for Village Idiot, which remind's me, I can do it now

Ah, thanks for than info DaleM.
So it's only iTrader (not private messages) that are affected by the post count.
(Besides the obvious other restrictions).
Regards,
Jeff
