I like Verdana and Tahoma a lot. They are still nice at 10pt. Arial is good too but the capital I can be confused with the small l


I don't like the capital I in Arial
I like Verdana
I like Tahoma

For the headlines I preffer a custom font or a bold over-sized arial and for the content Verdana at 12px with a line height of 19-21 is just perfect.

I always use 11-px Arial, for navigation Helvetica Neue and sometimes Myriad Pro.

&
Arial & Myriad pro 12-14 px for smaller (content) text (leading set at 24)
