Overall, I have gotten over. Looking forward for the future of the forums. Lately it has seemed inactive, but it is a time when school / work is off and many people probably on vacation.
I like it a lot, it's good to see it is now in line with targeting visitors to the right areas now. Now that I am not on staff I have collapsed the Marketplace, and the forum is great!
Why you've put the marketplace forum above the freelance related forums puzzles me. I thought one way of improving TFL was to get some good topic based discussion going but this just seems to go totally against it. People are going to visit the marketplace forum no matter where it's placed, now the new forums are just going to stay inactive.
On a sidenot, i think there are way too many forums.
Most time im happy with the edits on talkfreelance but this is one of them i have to give you a no on. I dont like it, I dont like long forums I liked short ones that way you dont have to scroll as much.
