  Old  HTML Detagger?

I have thousands of HTML files with non-sense & useless ALT tags, generated by Photoshop CS 2 slicing.

Is there any way to batch remove all this ALT Tags? I tried a software called HTML Detagger but it seems it doesnt remove ALT tags, it can remove many other tags...

And How can I turn of Photoshop's auto ALT tagging?

Thank you

Alt tags are good for accessibility, if for some reason the image doesn't load, the alt tag (if given an appropriate name) should say what the image is.

Yes you are correct, but it needs lot of days to edit all this HTML pages. the tags are very stupid, auto-generated, they look like "blabla91" , random numbers and random texts. thats why I prefer to remove them.

well, in dreamweaver you can do a find and replace command. so do a find like
alt="*" and then a replace with a empty space to remove it. im not sure if that wild card will work though.

but yea, the alt tags are usefull for accesability when they make sense.
