its alright but the red is very harsh on the eyes, and i cant read the footer at all. but i like it overall.

Its nice, but do you really think red suits a swimming pool? Try pale grey and saturated blues in a minimalistic style. And by the way, the photo on the header isn't very eye catching. It also seems as she has some sort of growth on her back.(I know its water droplets, but thats not the point) Nice effort.

but they requested the red colors, as their original logo is also red, and they wanted to keep it that way.

The only issues I have with the design is the layout does not allow for the easy placement of content. The fonts in the nav bar are a bit crunched and the logo image is very busy. However, the color red is a nice match for the image though I would pull in the blue color of the water a bit more. For example, make the background color the light blue with the nav bar remaining the dark red of the swimsuit of the image.

Just my two cents.

I'd lighten the text up on the footer, but other than that it's great.

You better get some work from them in the future. :P

Yeah, this template is absolutely amazing. It kind of looks like a business template to be honest though haha. Most school templates are just crap, and just use div's and css to develop it with basically no attractive template what so ever.
