Firstly, If I wanted a lip balm I would want it fast, so It's much more convenient to just go down to the chemists (5 mins) and buy one for $1.50.
Secondly, I don't really trust any homemade products over the internet, without even having pictures of the product on the site.
I would release the site properly, then announce it .
Also the lip balm market is not a very big one, but good luck!
Yeah, I certainly see where you are coming from. But like I said, pictures are coming soon. We aren't really going to make the internet our big market anyway.
Also, it is estimated that lip balm sellers and companies make a total of around 200 million/yearly. Not sure where your getting your ideas about the market from!
I agree with AndyR - as a customer I'd wonder why I should buy an untested pack of 20 from (no offence to you) who knows where instead of something I'm familiar with that'll be cheaper or, if yours is cheaper it'll awful quality stuff.
EDIT: In the meta tags, "It has no preservatives, which makes it easier on the lips." - and made it get riddled with bacterial growth as well!
Definitely understandable. Of course pictures and new things are coming soon. This is more of a post just to spread the word, and get the name out. It's no where near it's complete stage. And, we haven't made it available but to only TF actually. I just posted that you could get it here because this is my most active forum so I figured I would let anyone who may be interested take a few from us. It's actually not readily available to anyone else. Don't get the wrong impression.
