New project creates WP theme from within Photoshop

They claim the code is standards-compliant and well-optimized.

I wonder if this is good enough to make some of us obsolete?

Completely agree.

I agree, but the problem is that the people who want their PSDs turned into WP themes may not care about how perfect the code is.

I couldn't even get it to install, first time it says "Photoshop is already open, close it to install Divine", so I close it, then it says "Photoshop isn't installed on this computer". Not a good start.

And, if they don't care its just about not spending money, which a lot don't, they were more than likely going to hire the $5 guy anyway, so it's not a loss to "real coders" as far as competition goes. The code is probably comparible to the $5 guy and they save 5 bucks, which is a benefit.

I'd be interested to see the actual outcome of a psd->wp job done through this.
