If you wanted to get money out of the bank, would your parents have to be there?

I would have to agree with Dan,
I had my own bank account when i was 12, and I also had my own paypal account then, used the same one ever since, it is in my name and I am verified.
When I had a bank account, yes a parent was with me - but they didn't have to be, they were only there because I was 12 and really didn't know much, but also to provide my birth certificate which I could have provided.
I also went into the bank a few weeks back to open a 2nd account, I was alone and there was no problem.
I don't see the problemn at all...

In that case none of you should be using paypal. You're all breaking the rules.

Paypal is not permitted for underages unless you have the parents supervision. I have a bank account as well that i can take out the money from ATMs, but my paypal is registered to my Father's name therefore i have the legal rights to use it

Beh, Rules are meant to be broken, imagine if nobody broke rules?
I've been a successful Paypal user for almost 4 years now, I'm bringing profit to Paypal by doing so, so they shouldn't be complaining... I would like to know the % of people that are 'breaking' Paypal's rules by being underaged... I bet if they banned all of them they would loose a lot of profit...

All of you guys that are under the age to own a bank account still say you have one. That is because it is under your name, but your parents must cosign everything for you. You want to take out money, then you will need your parents signature that is also registered under that account.
