When and how to update a website?

How should I go about keeping my website updated?

Scheduled updates, like weekly, or on the fly, like whenever I get new articles to add?

Scheduled, it'll give you more time to add more quality content. If you update on the fly, you will more likly not take as much time on your content, therefore making it not as good as it could be.

i would say not scheduled as you can and should only update your site when you have something to update it with

however, if you constantly have new news or updates then you should do what Remix said to assure that its 'quality over quantity'
