The main advantage of age is experience, both in the industry and of life.

Maturity and responsibility is why age is important.

For 2 years I have been designing sites commercially. That makes me 15 when I started. I have never lied about my age, or not been myself. I have no problem getting fairly large contracts (which are countersigned by my legal guardians) with companies to do some work for them.

I know kids that are younger that act more mature than most of the people in my school classes. i guess it really just depends on who it is. and if you know the person i think that it doesnt matter. thats just me

I never mentioned about some exceptions like myself, I meant certain people that are on this forum like templatealien(matt) who I know was extremely childish when I saw him over at yaxay. So it does matter I would never work with him because of what I saw over there. So it really is important to choose somone mature but most people below 15 are not, thats the stage where they are in puberty the late ones so there most likely to go in a mood etc..

its all about the person not really age.

I know 12 year old's that seem smarter more talented and mature than some grown men.

so in my opinion it has to do with the person.

you'd be a fool to judge one's entire character by TEXT posted on the internet regardless.

I'm 14, and tomarrow I have a meeting, and will be incorporating my company. In my viewpoint age does not matter at all.

The developer of the Mozilla Firefox engine was a 14 year old kid if I'm not mistaken. His mom still drives him to work since he's not old enough to drive a car.
