Paypal is more like a kind of online bank account, but Checkout is jsut a kind of gateway.

Indeed. We may look for shopping cart and billing programs to start integrating this tool in the future.

imo it sucks for wat i want. I use payapl to send money to other people and buy services. All this is ( as far as i can see) is just like a gatway to pay for online products from shops. So if they stay like this, they will hardly put a dint in PP imo.

i dont believe this is the purpose of checkout...i think what it is, its for those people who are insecure about using their credit card information on the internet and google basiclys makes it convienant(sp) and save to do so...atleast thats how i understand it
