Why dont you all sit back and realise that words aren't weapons and we all work in a competitive industry, a very competitive one!

If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.

Well said, you took the words out of my mouth. I have to agree with all the things you said Robson. Anthony is for sure the best man to get the work done on time and i would recommend him to anyone as a designer my self. I share a lot common views with him eventhough we dont know each other. A designer should treat the client's work as he treats his own. So if a designer shows a delayed schedule without previous notifications it clearly shows his character and immaturity towards the freelance industry.

You look ugly as hell, but no offence, it's not your fault.
Clearly the same type of comment, clearly rude and not appropriate.

Anyway, i can see where you're coming from Robson. If a freelancer cannot commit to the project in my personal opinion they shouldn't even touch it. With that many brick walls i'm surprised you've held your composure too. At least this shows (with Ant) that there are a few good bricks in the wall that might help you get through it.

blindchild you left yourself open for the comment, think a bit more before you post next time and maybe give it a second thought and opt-out.

Thanks for the comments Michael, appreciated highly.

I've got years of experience, which I beleive in showing when dealing with clients and people who are willing to learn. If you think you're the big thing, or too good for more knowledge, then step back.

I spend every single day learning more and more. Life skills reflect knowledge in business and when dealing with people. Maybe the problem is youth (notice I said youth...not age...age is just a number). A few years down the line some of you will look back maybe and think "hmmm, yeah...that's right".

I recently hired someone to skin (and finish a design) for wordpress. I said I needed it by the end of the week but he promised me it done next day. I'm stilll waiting and am getting bloody annoyed at his excused- "I'm trying to get my grades up at school", "I messed up and need to start over". The second one is complete bull****, the preview has stayed the same since the first day. Tomorrow I will be filing a chargeback via paypal, he urged for upfront payment so he could pay his hosting.

Anyway for decent designers I can say Anthony is a great and fast worker (completed my job within hours). I also do a lot of work for http://portfolio.pandukasenaka.com/index.html of http://www.tenfourstudios.com/ (and now he's referred me to his group's project manager, another 2-3 projects a week). They both seem to meet deadlines, and force me to pixel accuracy.

I don't see how rsek's comment can even be taken as rude.

He said "n/o but maybe you'r not good enough for the quality he needed? n/o"

Robson said he was looking for the quality of www.fubon.co.uk - and personally I don't think anyone here is capable of that type of work at the moment.

Anyway, this whole post has given me an idea for a project. So thanks

Indeed rosem, IMO the only person who comes marginally close is DrawingArt.

Keep us informed on the project mate
