I dont blame em, its you who didnt follow the rules. Its your fault, why put the blame on someone who was doing it right? If you ever get your money back, I think you learned your lesson.

ya, you violated their TOS, you are under 18 therefore what happened was under the agreement.
in the US what you do before you are 18 means little to nothing, you cant sign anything and be held to it, therefore no one has a minor sign a contract.
I work under my dads name with his concent, so what happens under my actions are technicly what he did. if your parents wont do that, try an older brother/sister, if that doesnt work, you are out of luck.

But WHY do they have to keep my money, why not just send the money to my bank account and close my account. WHY ignore my emails for three months, i'll tell you why, it's because they suck.

its because you are under 18 and they dont have to do anything, you shouldnt have tried to violate their TOS, I am overflowing with apathy.
I dont know englands laws, but legaly they could do nothing in the US, you cant own a bank account or cash checks. furthermore, how? your account is gone!

Uhm.. I'm pretty sure they outlined in their email exactly why they are keeping it for 180 days. If i owned paypal, i'd do the same.

If im honest i dont have any sympathy for you. No offense intended but you must have been preety stupid and made it obvious that you are under age. Your profile probably had you were under 18 :/.
My paypal account is in my dads name and my profile, credit card even bank account (his account not mine) are all in his name. This way paypal cannot prove that i am the owner of the account.

they cant prove that you dont own it because you dont, your dad own it and lets you use it, like his car (granted that you have a permit ;-) ).

Meh, ok I was in the wrong, I should of put it on my dads name or something I should of read the TOS but i didn't, I don't go through a TOS because it's to long to read and i'm to lazy to read the whole damn thing. But it's pretty stupid to keep the money for a 6 months period.
