Rapidshare.com Login via URL

Wasn't sure what forum to post this is, so here you go.

To quote RS FAQ: http://rapidshare.com/en/faq.html

Many services, like RapidShare as well, use mechanisms to disable download-managers and direct-downloads. So if you enter a normal RapidShare-link, you will also get a very small file (and not the file itself). But if you use an URL with login and password like http://LOGIN:PASSWORD@rapidshare.com/files/73746274/file.zip, the download will actually work.

I've been trying this out with my account details but I'm unable to login.

Does anyone know if this still works? Is there another way to login to RS accounts via URL? Or does anyone have any script that'll auto login yourself when you visit it?

Depends on the browser you are using. The last time I attempted a login like this, Internet Explorer didn't allow it, but Firefox and other major browsers will be more than capable of handling the syntax.
