Hey Trev,

A while back I bought "PHP & MySQL For Dummies" but never got round to reading it in-depth. In the mean time I found a site called Web Monkey which has plenty of short primers for those who want to learn PHP / MySQL!

Url : http://webmonkey.wired.com/webmonkey/

Hope this helps

I'm quite confident that if you read this entire 14 page tutorial on programming using PHP, you'll be proficient in it in no time.

Buy a php book? lol might bore you, though i find em good resources. Best way to learn is through tutorial experience.

It all depends on who the author of the book is. Some authors really know how to captivate a reader and deliver comprehensive learning material. Others are boring and dry.
