Yeah but isn't all design an arrangement of objects, just becasue this uses less than most dosen't make it any less valid, the design in this sense i think falls into it's simple use of strong colour and shapes.

I like it for use as a resturant, bar website or clothing stores As a corporate template it, does not quite sit right.

I would add some nice glossy menu tabs down the right side of the pink in that extra grey bit.

One could argue that many professional logos are not design because they "just" use text. Eventhough the use of letters and spacing is strategic. Complexity doesn't make a design or designer "good." The purpose is to communicate a message and that requires neither complexity nor simplicity, but strategy and intention.

My $0.02.
