Old  H&FJ Article: Mixing Fonts - a Great Read!

Hi everyone,

I just read what the guys over at typography.com had to say about mixing fonts in design. I found it really interesting and they provided some great examples.

The only problem now is that I want to buy all their fonts

Anyway, here's the link: CLICKY

Any comments/opinions/tips of your own?

Wow, the fonts for #1 and #2 look absolutely stunning. I already have 2/3 fonts for #1 but Tungsten looks pretty bad ass. Might pick up that one and Hearty .

Gaz,
Thanks for linking to that great article. The folks at typography.com really know what they're talking about and I've been following their expert advice for quite some time. I usually find that the biggest problems people have with typography in their designs is they overcomplicate the type or add a playful type when a professional one is needed.
