I don't get it. The 'Advertise' and 'Contact Us' buttons are getting most of my attention.

I really like it, something about the current design gives me the feeling that there isn't much going on.

I think its a change, Bazza will most likely make it default but give others the choice to switch back and fourth.

The reason i love the current, isn't because i'm used to it, It's because its just great for this kind of forum! Its a business forum. Its well laid out! colouring is great, and its easy to understand and navigate.
Sure, in a while we will all get used to the new layout, but its just too clustered for my liking. It's just like going onto it and thinking, gah, How long will it take me to look at the recent threads if you know what i mean.
Theres just too much going on, and the coloring is too similar to clarify the difference between 2 things.
I just think the designers of this, yes, have talent, but when it comes to users needs. They don't.

I personally really don't like the new skin. Yes some of the design work on it is spectacular, but it really is just TOO busy. It will give me a headache if i use it too long, and at the end of the day, its not a good skin that this forum is missing. It's missing any real promotion and a very inactive AND ignorant owner.
Just my opinion, but I won't not say what I feel.

Strongly dislike it myself because of the atrocious colour selections and badly thought out colour arrangements. As stated in the previous post, my eyes are forever being cast to the left-hand side of the design - advantageous for advert clicks, bad for anything remotely related to the forum itself.
I don't know if it will kill TalkFreelance. I do hope not.
You all want a new skin but aren't open minded about it at all.
|
Very stereotypical of you. I don't ever remember myself wanting a new design. As someone else has said, it's not a design that TalkFreelance needs.

If I'd put money on it, I would say $10k.
