  Old  Best FTP Out there?

I was just curious, as to what you would think the best FTP program was? I currently use CoreFTP, but sometimes while uploading, it will stop if there are to many files or something, and In a few days, I am going to have to FTP about 9,000 Image files at once, and was just curious what you would reccomend being the 'best' Ftp? Not just your favorite, but truley the best?

Because its not much use designing a site without uploading any of the files

WS_FTP Pro is clearly the best, I've been using it for about 10 years and currently use the 2006 release. It isn't cheap but for the features you get, (such as multiple connections both local and remote, 'hot drop' folders, persistent connection, and many more), it isn't expensive either so if you are serious about your work forget the LE and Home versions and go for the real deal.

I used to use WS_FTP and now use SmartFTP - both have done a good enough job for me

Well said, this was the first FTP program I ever got. Since then I've tried others out of interest but WS_FTP is the way to go.

SmartFTP, WS_FTP Pro, and FireZilla are all good.
