Buy another site for $100. Improve it. Resell it for a profit in a month or two. Repeat.

Depends really.... on your resources, your time you want to add in, and your sales ability.

For instances, you can see some people buy a template for $100, and go to another forum and sell it for $150. Or some more shady people buy it for $100 and sell it 5 more times for $50. =p

There's alot of things you could do this with. Logo templates, icons, icon sets, web templates, banner templates, small scripts, custom vb hack, smilie set, etc etc.

Or you can go with Indy's suggestion which personally I think is the easiest... But that's only because I'm a designer that only requires a few minutes to operate =p Buy a small cheap site, get rid of the old crusty design, shove on something unique, fresh, trendy, optimize the code and seo, advertise it cheaply to up the traffic and then resell it.

Look at it this way... How much time do you want to put in for how much money? A Myspace website requires alot of time to return money on, as other things require small ammounts of time for return.

1) Choose a subject that interests you

2) Develop a cheap content site about this

3) Promote the hell out of it!

Im not really into making content kind of sites apart from video/arcade sites. Something like a forum or something would be good, but forums are risky thing so that kind narrows the site
