No need to hate on IE anymore, (well not as much anyway..) it has come a long way since version 6. Yeah it doesn't display everything pixel perfect as much as we would want it to, but this goes for pretty much every web browser out there, they all display content in their own way.

You have not mentioned whether you are using I.E 8 or 7. I have stopped using I.E and I am an avid lover of Firefox but still it got crashed and I do not want to switch to I.E because it is a tad bit slow.

You could be cool and use an even better browser than firefox and go with Chrome better standards com pliancy, it's pro :P The downside is you can load it up with memory dragging plugins *sighs*

But it's fast, lightweight, and if you're just using it for the internet, you couldn't ask for something more perfect.

I agree, Chrome is great and it starts up faster than any other browser. You could also try Safari or Opera.

Solution - Switch to Firefox or Chrome (why hold out on an antiquated browser?)

I have to say IE8 is better, but I still prefer Firefox.

I would switch to Firefox if your IE continues to act up. Google Chrome is a viable option, but it acts up like IE sometimes.

I haven't tried Google Chrome, but really, IE tends to run into a lot of random problems. Firefox is a great alternative, of course, but watch what plugins you choose to install!

I don't believe any of us regularly use IE, he probably use it just for testing his websites.
I also do that. I use linux and have IE4linux installed just for that purpose, never would change my firefox for any browser

IE8 is a big improvement but it's still nowhere near Firefox.

Chrome is pretty much the same as FF, it sometimes doesn't work correctly at all for me thought (mostly when it comes to flash).
