Christmas Competitions
I am all for what you guys are doing to rejuvenate this place; I just have to share a thought I had on these competitions.
I feel like they are a little one-sided towards designers (save from the joke and word-association ones) and seeing as not all freelancers are designers, I think there should be some photography based (Best Christmas Photo; Could even tie into a Photography Forum) or coding based challenges. I know that coding may not be something that everyone can see and understand, but I think a "Best-Tables only Holidays themed site" or a demoscene type thing. (The latter was from left-field, I am not sure we have any (demo)sceners here.)
Just a Thought.
Happy Holidays to All!

That's why I'm not joining any of them, I can't design.

^^ I wouldnt mind a photography one, but even that is SOMEWHAT bias still..
Maybe have some serious coding/desiging contests, and random small contests.

As Julian said, loads of competitions to come. But I do not see the lop-sided-ness... There has only been one design competition?

Please point out ANYWHERE in my post when I said I wasn't going to join any of the competition. I merely said "those" by which I meant design as that was what the topic about. Please learn how to read if you are going to be mods/admins.
