Old  Help me pick a new laptop :)

Hey guys,

I am currently on the hunt for a new laptop (old ones kinda packed up now, had it for like 5 years ) anyway, I will mainly be using the laptop for browsing the web, designing (photoshop, illustrator) and other programs.

My price budget is only around $1,000-1200 but I can go up a bit higher.

Needs to have at least 2gb ram (I would prefer 3GB though), and a decent processor 2.x or 3.x GHz

Anybody know of some good laptops around that range

Looks like you can get the base model Macbook, and then for another $100 have 4GB of ram. Mac's are great machines.

$1,100 for the base model MacBook. Then for another $100 from here: http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Other.../53IM2DDR4GBK/ will get you a 4GB ram kit for the laptop. So $1,200 total. If you're a student, you can get the same laptop for $999, plus $100 for the ram.
