I was simply making a point about how it doesn't work for anyone except you, which kinda sucks from a buyer's view.

Will the buyer have to satisfy any special server requirements? Will it work on windows/linux servers, shared hosting, etc. and what extensions (if any) need to be enabled in PHP for it to work?

No,
You don't need any special server for ThumbsOnFly.
I use the site in Shared Linux hosting, you only need PHP4/5 to this site.
