I am working on some scripts to start sharing/selling and I have been working on a web site. Please give me any suggestions and/or comments.

I like it very much, nice colors. The font used for the navigation on the top looks a bit tall though, maybe experiment with that a bit? The icon used for the download button doesn't flow with the colors. Though I am sure once it is finished it will look great.

Thanks for the comments. I will look into a better navigation font. Is it just the color of the Download button or would it be better to do a whole new Icon.

Thanks,

I think if the colors matched then if would fit better. Nothing else is really used in the template that would make the actual style clash with anything else, just the colors look off.

It looks to blog-ish IMO.

I think you should go for a more techy look with lighter colours.

It looks better now. I think this style is perfect for someone who is going to be selling their scripts. If he made it techish it would not look as professional and I'm not sure if people would take him any more seriously than the next guy with a complex tech website. This looks good, I think if you continue on it will be great.

In my opinion, it doesn't mix together, doesn't flow. You got Century Gothic for the navigation, a techy font for the temporary logo and arial for the rest.

If you're doing something like a script site, lots of downloading, techy looks seem to look better than natural designs. Silver and shiny instead of flat and earthy pictures. I don't know if you can use a stockphoto for selling scripts, either. Maybe some woman in a suit or something. Or don't have a stock photo at all.

But it depends on how you want the user to feel. So commit to a mood, you should end up with a little better result.

Sadly I'm not good at techy. Also the photo is not a stock photo, it is a photograph from a deviantart portfolio of pictures that I enjoyed looking at (I am/was planning on asking permission before I made this a public design).

BTW: If anyone wants to trade a design better suited for a script site, I would not mind doing it. If its much better than mine than I will gladly do some custome coding.

Thanks,
Flash-matic

It looks really good. Like everyone said, it doesn't really look like a script site, but the overall design is fine.
