  Old  [Wanted] XHTML/CSS Coder

Hello TalkFreelance,

I have too many projects going on at a time at the moment, so I'm not going to be able to get one of them coded by myself. What I need is a two page (main page and subpage) design which must be coded into VALID tableless XHTML/CSS.

Here is a preview of the design:

And the subpage:

A few key points on this;

A) All columns must expand according to the ammount of content put in them.

B) The design itself must expand vertically.

C) The glow-ish border MUST remain intact!

Please post your portfolios (I will not even consider hiring anyone who does not have any previous works to show) and your bid on the project. I'm fairly flexible in regards to pricing, so don't be afraid to give me an offer If anyone thinks they're up to it, contact me by any of the following methods.

E-mail: sam.stenson@gmail.com
AIM: StensonNet
MSN: shaq_is_stupid@hotmail.com

Please also post in this thread if you are interested in the job so I can know to check my e-mail, or sign on to the IM services.

Thanks, and I look forward to your responses

Just as a precaution Sam, I'd suggest watermarking those as it is a pretty nice design

I'll do it for 250$

CSS/XHTML example:
http://www.pittco.org (I designed a 100% compatible valid xhtml trans 1.0 template with no tables (i can show you the original template if you need proof), but the owner of the site added content improperly.
Other examples:
http://vc.thinkcomputers.org/32/
http://www.poetsdream.net

Also you can check out http://www.pittdesign.com for my portfolio.

I code CSS and XHTML well and my business stance is very straight forward and ethical. I use W3C's xhtml validator as well as other error correcting tools and I optimize as much as possible.

email me powerkor@comcast.net
or leave a post here.

I have completed the work you requested and all the key points you mentioned have been factored in. I am willing to offer you my completed design for $150, though this is negotiable.

Details of the work I have done:

-> Both pages are XHTML 1.0 Strict Compliant
-> The one stylesheet is CSS Compliant
-> Both pages have been constructed exactly how you visualized them
-> The page is accessible with image 'alt tags' and hyperlink 'titles' etc.
-> All the content boxes have been constructed to stretch vertically when required
-> Constructed properly (Not a botched image slicing job)

I have tested both pages in Internet Explorer 6.0, Mozilla Firefox 1.0, Opera 6 on the Microsoft Windows platform and all show the pages exactly how they should be. I have gone to extra lengths to make sure this is possible, as CSS and XHTML are recognised differently by different browsers.

As I say, this work has already been completed and you can choose to take it for $150 (Negotiable) if you would like to. Email me at php@hotmail.co.uk if you are interested in purchasing this work, would like any modifications or would like to haggle with the price.

Thanks

@SecondOak,

I feel really bad about this. I have already hired a coder (Aros) to complete the job. Thank you for your time spent, but it really would have been better for you to contact me before hand by one of the methods mentioned in me first post. When there is a job offer you have to expect other people to apply as well!

[Edit] Also, how did you code it when you don't have the .psd?

Absolutely no trouble at all. It is good practise for me, and heck, I enjoy doing this kind of stuff!

SoReal, I usually use a flat file as well.

I usually use it because it is much easier to cut things out without redoing parts.
