i first used Napster when it first came out, then after it was shut down, i used Morpheus, then i found out about KaZaA and used that for awhile until KaZaA started having alot of spyware and viruses. after that i used Limewire and still am. best P2P prog i've used. excellent speeds.

Limewire is good for smaller files, but nothing can compare to the speeds of bittorrent for larger files.
I often get well over 400 kb/s with crappy comcast cable.

Amen stenson. lol
Alot of people dont understand what the **** their talking about..
The RIAA cannot legally do anything about p2p software installed on your computer.. Software is software.. HOWEVER, Downloading Copyrighted Music is very much illegal. The government cannot bust you for having/downloading a p2p client. Although, if you have 'illegal' music you downloaded with that client, on your computer, then its another story. People think of p2p clients as just a means to download music, but other's actually use the programs to share 'legal' files. Wow, Imagine that.

Technically--anything you have bought a right to--you can download. :P For instants if I have purchased a videogame, and I download a copy of it--That technically is legal. :P

I use limewire, so far it hasnt gone all wonky on me and i havent gotten any virus's or spyware. Also, the speed of the downloads is extremely fast compared to any other p2p network.

Yes in certain countries. Not all laws are the same.
