Strange.. it happen only on the first 2 days, now its like the old iPhone..

its 3:49PM disconnected from charger at 7:30AM and have 3 quarters left on battery.

Did you guys fully charge it when you first got it? If you didn't theres a sign that your battery isn't gonna last as long as should do

iPhones are rubbish enigma. Get a real smart phone like a Nokia N95 or something.

Even with the problems there is no better phone thant the iPhone

The old iPhones are having problems with the 2.0 firmware. I am not saying the 3G doesn't have lag, but I have found VERY few times were it has locked up. Worse case it doesn't do the opening animation.

I don't regret my choice, only because I had a previous iPhone. For getting a first time iPhone, this is the one! (Only because I payed $300 for a new phone and a contract, blah)

A tip though, is to go to the homescreen before locking the phone. I noticed that sometimes third party apps run in the background if you don't close to the homescreen.

If you think Apple won't address any issues that are noticeable now, you are overlooking Apple. There will be a 2.1 update out in about 2-3 weeks. I just got the seed, and so far it's great. (not noticable from the phone, because I can't load it on. but putting it on the computer compared to the 2.0, you can run both.)
